Pj's Coffee in Baton Rouge, LA is looking for one Assistant Store Manager to join our NEW team. Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver, self-starter, ambitious, and reliable.
Responsibilities - work with Store Manager on the following:
- Actively work behind the counter when management duties are not needed
- Train employees and monitor operations to ensure customers' expectations are exceeded
- Staff and schedule appropriately to control labor costs
- Resolve conflicts that may arise from customers or employees in a professional manner
- Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place to control cost of goods
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a manager or strong willingness to learn
- Problem solve on your own or with little guidance
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
- Open availability and able to work 40-hour work weeks
- ServSafe Manager certified or willing and able to acquire a certificate
