Next Level Installations is a full service commercial office furniture installation, service, delivery and relocation company located in central CT. NLI provides new and used office furniture installation, teardown, reconfiguration, removal, recycling, and repair services throughout CT, New England and the Tri-State area. NLI prides itself on customer service and total satisfaction for our clients. We are located in Wallingford CT, centrally located, situated halfway between NYC and Boston. We offer project management on each and every installation, a full-time staff with many combined years of Modular Office furniture installation experience, 4 box trucks with lift-gate capability, a 15,000 square foot, staffed warehouse. Our staff is comfortable and experienced installing all major manufacturers of commercial office furniture, cubicles, seating, and storage. NLI also offers asset management and long-term or short-term secured storage.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Installation Technician located in Wallingford, CT. The Installation Technician will be responsible for commercial office furniture installation, teardown, reconfiguration, removal, recycling, and repair services throughout CT, New England, and the Tri-State area. The Installation Technician will work closely with the Project Manager, and is expected to provide top-notch customer service, with a focus on total satisfaction for our clients.
Qualifications
Prior experience in Commercial Office Furniture Installation is highly desirable.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings.
Ability to lift equipment and furniture up to 100 lbs. without assistance.
Experience with major brands of office furniture.
Effective communication skills to work with project managers and clients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Ability to use basic hand and power tools properly.
Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Additional Requirements
This is a full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week and potential for overtime and occasional weekend work.
Must have the ability to travel throughout CT, New England, and the Tri-State area.
Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
