LTC Scripts is seeking an experienced long-term-care pharmacist (RPh) to perform order verification and clinical review, support facility consultations, and supervise pharmacy technicians and workflow under the guidance of our Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC).
This is a part-time, on-site position in Long Valley, NJ, paying $55–$65 per hour based on experience. Strong long-term-care pharmacy experience, hands-on FrameworkLTC proficiency, and an active New Jersey pharmacist license in good standing are required.
Responsibilities
• Verify medication orders and perform clinical reviews.
• Consult with long-term-care facilities and communicate with nurses, directors of nursing, and facility administrators.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and coordinate workflow.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal LTC pharmacy regulations.
• Support packaging operations, including bingo cards and unit-dose packaging.
• Collaborate with the PIC and leadership team to support our long-term-care facility partnerships.
Required Qualifications
• Active New Jersey pharmacist license in good standing.
• Strong experience in long-term-care pharmacy.
• Hands-on proficiency with FrameworkLTC.
• Knowledge of cycle fills, controlled-substance regulations, emergency kits, and assisted-living facility (ALF) and skilled-nursing facility (SNF) workflows.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Scheduling flexibility, including some evening/weekend rotation if needed.
Preferred Qualification
• Knowledge of IV antibiotics.
