INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROLS SYSTEM ENGINEER
Ready to hire! Work with a leading EPC specializing in the oil and gas industry. Seeking Senior Engineer responsible for technical and operation engineering of instrumentation and process control system scope, DCS, telecommunications, instrumentation, and process analyzers for large oil and gas, refining, and petrochemical projects.
- Assist the execution lead with eye for managing cost, scope, schedule and internal reporting requirements for assigned tasks.
- Responsibility, accountability and authority to manage the execution of assigned aspects of engineering design according to applicable specifications, standards and project objectives.
- Assemble scope of work and construction packages
- Facilitate safety and constructability reviews
- Create requisitions for engineered items and development of spare parts list.
Experience/skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 10+ years of industrial oil and gas, refining, petrochemical or heavy industrial experience
- 5+ years of experience in technical control systems leadership
- PE preferred
- Experience developing process control specifications and control system design
- Experience leading initiatives and managing suppliers
- Experience requisitioning, evaluating bids, reviewing/managing supplier data for instruments and process control systems i.e. DCS, PLC, SIS, BMS
- Experience with electrical schematic drawings, logic diagrams and panel schedules
- Knowledge of an exposure to telecoms, and process analyzer engineering is a plus
- Excellent communication skills.
