Driver/Activities Assistant

Redmont Ridge is seeking anDriver/Activities Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidates must be devoted and compassionate about their chosen career. The candidatewill have experience working with individuals with dementia, have a highly enthusiastic personality, and be able to develop creative activities for our residents. They must also be able to pass a driver's background screening and be familiar with local routes of transportation.

Responsibilities of Driver/Activity Assistant:

• Conducts and/or assists with assignments and assigned activity groups on Tuesdays and Thursdays

• One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs

• Provides input and assistance with activity planning

• Escort residents to and from activities

• Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public

• Responsible for resident transportation on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

Qualifications of Driver/Activity Assistant:

• Experience is preferred

• High School Graduate or GED

• Clear driver's background screening
