Job Title: Sr. Project Manager
Location: Onsite 5 days/week in Chattanooga, TN + Southeast travel 1–2x/month
Duration: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Compensation: $125k-$150k
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for a top commercial construction client in Chattanooga, TN. This individual will take full ownership of ground-up commercial projects, typically around $10M, from early planning and preconstruction through final delivery and closeout. The PM will manage schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, purchasing, project financials, and subcontractor coordination while partnering closely with field leadership and clients. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced commercial PM seeking project ownership and long-term growth within an expanding organization.
Day-to-Day:
- Own multiple ground-up commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Manage project budgets, financial reporting, requisitions, and collections
- Partner with Superintendents to maintain schedule, quality, and project execution
- Coordinate purchasing strategies with estimating and procurement teams
- Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Identify project risks and proactively resolve schedule, cost, or execution issues
- Travel to Southeast jobsites, including Nashville, Savannah, and Raleigh markets
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience with a commercial General Contractor
- Ground-up commercial construction experience, ideally grocery, retail, or similar projects
- Experience managing projects around $10M in value
- Full project lifecycle ownership from preconstruction/planning through closeout
- Strong experience managing schedules, RFIs, submittals, budgets, and project financials
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong client, subcontractor, vendor, and internal team communication
- Comfortable traveling throughout the Southeast 1–2x monthly
