Structural Steel Estimator

R&R Fabrication is hiring an experienced Structural Steel Estimator

We are looking for someone with actual structural and miscellaneous steel estimating experience who can independently handle takeoffs, estimates, and bids.

Responsibilities:

• Review construction drawings and specifications.

• Prepare material takeoffs and labor estimates.

• Estimate structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects.

• Prepare and submit accurate, competitive bids.

• Coordinate with vendors, project managers, and shop personnel.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of structural steel estimating experience.

• Experience with structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication.

• Ability to independently prepare estimates and bids.

• Strong understanding of construction drawings.

• Must live within reasonable commuting distance of Prince Frederick, MD.

• Must work in person at our office.

This is not an entry-level position. Prior structural steel estimating experience is required.
