About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join a growing distribution and fulfillment operation in Troy, MI. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, data entry, and customer support in a fast-paced environment.
This position is primarily focused on order processing, data accuracy, and customer communication. While customer interaction is part of the role, this is not a front-desk or retail-facing position.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and maintain customer and order information
- Process customer orders and support administrative functions
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Research and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner
- Provide solutions based on customer needs and company processes
- Update records and documentation with a high level of accuracy
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and customers
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette and active listening abilities
- Excellent data entry and computer skills
- Typing speed of 40-50 WPM preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams
- ERP or order management system experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
