Position Overview
Talent Solutions Group is recruiting multiple Cybersecurity Engineers with hands-on HashiCorp Vault experience for a confidential enterprise client.
These positions offer the opportunity to work on complex security engineering initiatives involving cloud infrastructure, secrets management, privileged access security, and automation.
We are seeking engineers who can design, build, deploy, and enhance HashiCorp Vault environmentsnot simply maintain existing systems. Candidates with strong backgrounds in security engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or software development are encouraged to apply.
Multiple positions are available at different experience levels, including opportunities for engineers with strong implementation and architecture backgrounds as well as developing engineers with hands-on Vault and DevOps experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and support HashiCorp Vault environments.
- Build and deploy Vault clusters across cloud, multi-region, and hybrid infrastructure.
- Configure secrets engines, authentication methods, access policies, and secrets lifecycle management.
- Support cluster sizing, high availability, scalability, and resilience.
- Develop integrations between Vault, enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and infrastructure services.
- Automate security infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate Vault with AWS IAM, Kubernetes, Active Directory, OAuth/OIDC, and certificate-based authentication.
- Develop automation and engineering solutions using Python, Go (Golang), Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex security engineering issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, application development, and cybersecurity teams.
- Support platform upgrades, patching, and senior-level technical escalations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on professional experience with HashiCorp Vault.
- Experience implementing, configuring, integrating, deploying, or supporting Vault infrastructure.
- Background in cybersecurity engineering, software engineering, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Knowledge of secrets management, authentication, authorization, and privileged access security.
- Experience with scripting, automation, or CI/CD processes.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, or similar technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and deploying new HashiCorp Vault clusters from scratch.
- Experience with multi-region or hybrid cloud/on-premises Vault implementations.
- Knowledge of Vault cluster sizing, secrets engines, and high-availability architecture.
- Go (Golang) or Python development experience.
- Kubernetes and cloud-native security integrations.
- CyberArk, PKI, HSM, or Active Directory Certificate Services experience.
- Financial services or another regulated-industry background.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
