Territory Manager

Job description:

We are a manufacturer of high-quality institutional chemicals, recognized as a leader and innovator in the Commercial Dishwasher and Laundry sectors. We are seeking a motivated and self-starting Territory Manager to oversee and grow an existing sales territory. This role involves extensive hands-on mechanical work, including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining dishwashing and laundry equipment in the field. The ideal candidate will possess strong equipment knowledge, perform field diagnostics, and resolve technical issues efficiently. You will develop strong relationships with customers, provide technical expertise, and identify new business opportunities to drive sales growth. Your ability to analyze market trends, deliver effective presentations, and collaborate with internal teams will be essential to your success. Responsibilities:

• Conduct hands-on mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of dishwashing and Dispenser equipment in the field
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers within the assigned territory
• Deliver product to customers/ control product inventories
• Perform technical demonstrations and provide training on equipment operation and maintenance
• Analyze market trends and monitor competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any technical issues or concerns
• Provide regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, equipment issues, and market insights

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in technical sales or a related field with strong mechanical skills
• Hands-on experience with dishwashing and laundry equipment repair is highly preferred
• Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair procedures
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• and account management is preferred
• Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce is a plus
• Basic knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, electronics, wiring diagrams, plumbing, and mechanical systems
