Field Service Helper

Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
Position: Full-Time | In Person

A&R Energy Services is seeking dependable, hardworking Field Service Helpers to assist our technicians with the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of pressure safety valves (PSVs) and other industrial valves used in the oil and gas industry.

This is a hands-on position that involves working alongside experienced technicians at customer locations and in shop environments. We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, reliable, and willing to learn a skilled trade.

Previous oilfield or mechanical experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.

• Assist technicians with the removal, installation, inspection, testing, and repair of pressure safety valves and related equipment.

• Help load, unload, transport, and organize tools, valves, parts, and equipment.

• Assist with disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling valves under technician supervision.

• Prepare tools, equipment, and work areas for field service activities.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at customer facilities and company locations.

• Follow company and customer safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Assist with completing service documentation and maintaining accurate records.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and field technicians.

• Dependable, punctual, and willing to work.

• Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.

• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors.

• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and industrial environments.

• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

• Ability to travel to customer job sites as required.

• Previous oilfield, industrial, mechanical, or field service experience.

• Experience using hand tools and basic mechanical equipment.

• Familiarity with pressure safety valves, industrial valves, or related equipment.

• Knowledge of oilfield safety practices and procedures.

• Starting pay of $18.00 per hour.
