Job Summary

We are hiring Packers for a client in the auto parts industry. This role is responsible for accurately packing, labeling, and preparing auto parts for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Multiple shifts are available, including a weekend schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Pack auto parts and components according to order specifications and packaging standards

  • Inspect parts for damage or defects before packing

  • Select correct box sizes, dunnage, and packing materials to protect parts during shipping

  • Label, tape, and seal cartons accurately

  • Verify part numbers and quantities against packing lists or work orders

  • Stack and wrap completed orders on pallets for shipment

  • Scan items and update counts using handheld scanners or computer systems

  • Keep work area clean, organized, and stocked with packing supplies

  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards

  • Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals

Must Haves

  • Ability to stand and walk for full shift

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

  • Ability to read and match part numbers and labels accurately

  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

  • Availability to work the assigned shift, including weekends for the weekend shift

Preferred Skills

  • Previous packing, shipping, or warehouse experience

  • Experience in auto parts, manufacturing, or distribution environments

  • Experience using RF/handheld scanners
