Part-Time Accounting Assistant – Middletown, CT Area
A.R. Mazzotta Employment Specialists is seeking experienced Part-Time Accounting Assistants for multiple opportunities in the Middletown, CT area. These positions are ideal for individuals with a solid bookkeeping or accounting background who are looking for a part-time schedule.

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense records
- Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end reporting
- Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with payroll processing and related documentation as needed
- Maintain organized accounting files and records
- Provide general administrative and accounting support
Qualifications
- Previous bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience
- Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage financial information accurately and confidentially
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
