L & R Enterprises Inc is looking for a driven and experienced Commercial Flooring Project Manager to join our team in Hyattsville, MD. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of commercial flooring projects, from pre-construction planning through final installation and closeout
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and profitability goals
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with specifications
- Review and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and flooring specifications
- Procure materials, negotiate with vendors, and manage inventory and delivery logistics
- Identify and resolve project issues, change orders, and scope adjustments in a timely manner
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management experience in commercial flooring or a related construction trade
- Strong knowledge of commercial flooring products including carpet, LVT, tile, and resilient
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular site visits
