About the Role: Jorge R Lopez MD is looking for a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing medical practice in Santa Ana, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside an experienced physician in a patient-focused environment where your clinical expertise truly makes a difference.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive patient examinations, assessments, and evaluations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions under physician supervision
- Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing patient pharmacotherapy
- Document accurate and thorough patient records in EMR/EHR systems
- Educate patients and families on health management, prevention, and wellness
Requirements:- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification (PA-C) required
- Valid California PA license or ability to obtain licensure
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and bedside manner with diverse patient populations
- Experience with EMR/EHR documentation systems
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
