Job Summary:This position is responsible for overseeingthe daily operations of our service shop. The Service Manager will be responsible for leading the service team, ensuring efficient and high-quality repairs and services, managing customer relationships, and maintaining a safe, organized, and productive shop environment. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Service Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to company policies and standards.
• Supervise and motivate service technicians and staff to ensure efficient workflows, proper training, and a positive work environment.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Assist with managing service schedules, ensuring that jobs are completed on time, and technicians are properly assigned to tasks based on priority and expertise.
• Monitor the availability of necessary parts and tools to support service operations, working with the parts department to ensure inventory is well-stocked.
• Ensure that all work performed meets company quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.
• Assist in training new staff, providing guidance on best practices, and ensuring technicians remain updated on new technologies, equipment, and service techniques.
• Support with service paperwork, including job orders, work orders, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Help generate service reports, track performance metrics, and provide feedback to the Service Manager on operational improvements.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a service or technical environment (2+ years preferred)
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office
