We are looking for an energetic, dependable Front End Clerk to serve as the welcoming face of our retail and customer service operations.
The Role
As our Front End Clerk, no two days are quite the same. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, managing checkout, assisting with customer pickups, coordinating retail displays, and keeping front-of-house operations running smoothly. If you thrive in an active, hands-on environment and enjoy connecting with people, this role is built for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Checkout: Greet patrons warmly, process cash and card transactions accurately, and answer customer inquiries regarding cuts, packaging, and processing orders.
- Order Coordination: Assist customers with order pickups, verify order accuracy, and facilitate smooth communication between the front counter and back-of-house processing staff.
- Merchandising & Stocking: Keep retail shelves, freezers, and display cases cleanly organized, properly rotated, and fully stocked.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a tidy, sanitized, and welcoming storefront and counter area throughout the shift.
- Dynamic Support: Tackle various ad-hoc tasks across front-end operations to support the team during peak rush hours.
What We Are Looking For
- Availability:Saturday shifts are required, as weekends are our busiest, most vibrant days.
- Physical Capability: Ability to comfortably lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 lbs regularly (handling meat boxes, bulk orders, and restocking displays).
- Work Ethic & Dependability: Punctual, proactive attitude with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
- Communication Skills: Friendly, professional demeanor with customers and team members alike.
- Pre-Employment Screening: Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
