We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Expo / Food Runner to help keep dinner service organized and ensure every dish reaches our guests accurately and promptly. This role connects the kitchen and service teams and requires clear communication, a sense of urgency, and pride in the food we serve.
Schedule:Part-time, dinner shifts only. Full-time hours may be available by combining this position with another role.At minimum, applicants must be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.
What You’ll Do
- Check finished dishes against tickets for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before they leave the kitchen.
- Coordinate with cooks and servers to keep orders organized and help meals arrive together.
- Run food promptly to the correct tables and guests using table and seat numbers.
- Learn the menu, including dish names, ingredients, accompaniments, and common modifications.
- Communicate missing items, incorrect dishes, and special requests clearly and promptly.
- Follow established allergy procedures and confirm questions with the kitchen or manager.
- Keep the expo station clean, organized, and stocked throughout service.
- Assist with opening duties, restocking, side work, and closing cleanup.
- Support the service team as needed to keep dinner service running smoothly.

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry plates and trays, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Restaurant experience is preferred, especially in expo or food running.
