Purpose: Responsible for assembling, inspecting, and supplying corrugated boxes to support safe, efficient packaging operations throughout the plant.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble corrugated boxes according to production specifications
- Inspect boxes for quality, proper labeling, and structural integrity
- Supply finished boxes to packaging lines in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with GMP standards
- Follow all safety, food safety, and quality policies
- Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervision
- Assist with other packaging or production tasks as assigned, including cleaning various work areas throughout the facility
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Requires frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting while standing for extended periods of time.
- Basic math and counting skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must comply with GMP requirements, including PPE, hygiene, and dress code standards
Preferred Skills:
Prior manufacturing or packaging experience
Familiarity with food or ingredient production environments
Working Conditions:
Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, odors, and temperature variations
Required use of PPE (safety shoes, hair/beard nets, hearing and eye protection, lab coats, bump caps, etc.)
Work is repetitive in nature and requires patience, consistency, and the ability to stay engaged in a routine-based role.
