Position: RN Emergency Room - ER RN - You only need 6 months of ED Experience to be considered!
Location: Hudson, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift | Rotating Weekends
We're seeking compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused RNs to join our Emergency Department in Hudson, FL. Whether you're an experienced ER nurse or have at least 6 months of hospital-based Emergency Department experience, this is an opportunity to build your skills, work alongside a supportive team, and grow your nursing career.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
- Assess patients, monitor conditions, and respond quickly to changing patient needs.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and carry out provider orders.
- Assess and manage patient pain, including appropriate follow-up and reassessments.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with physicians and fellow healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
- Anticipate patient needs and provide attentive, responsive care throughout the patient experience.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) degree or diploma.
- At least 6 months of Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting.
- A passion for patient care and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, critical-thinking, and clinical assessment skills.
Don't have every certification yet? That's okay! Several certifications can be completed after hire.
- ACLS – Within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) – Within 30 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course – Within 6 months of hire.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention – Within 6 months of hire.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – Within 1 year of hire.
Compensation:
- Base Pay: Up to $47.02/hour, based on years of experience.
- Night Shift Differential: Additional $4.75/hour.
