Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a Mobile Application Developer position for our client.
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 4 months
Duties:
Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
Integrate React Native components and functionality into existing native iOS and Android applications.
Develop and maintain custom native modules and UI components to support application requirements.
Implement native-to-JavaScript communication using React Native Bridge, Turbo Modules, and related integration patterns.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across mobile platforms.
Support application builds, deployments, and ongoing maintenance using React Native CLI, Expo, and native development tools.
Collaborate with development teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable mobile solutions.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in React Native, including component lifecycle, hooks, and state management using Redux and Context API.
Experience with React Native CLI, Expo, and brownfield integration into existing iOS and Android applications.
Knowledge of native iOS development using Objective-C and/or Swift, Xcode, and native module bridging.
Knowledge of native Android development using Java and/or Kotlin, Android Studio, and Gradle.
Experience building custom native modules and UI components, with an understanding of React Native Bridge, Turbo Modules, and native-to-JavaScript communication.
Experience:
Demonstrated experience developing and supporting production mobile applications using React Native.
Hands-on experience integrating React Native functionality into established native iOS and Android applications.
Banking and/or financial services experience, particularly within the Cards domain, is preferred.
Background check (BGC) is required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65.00 to $78.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
