Distribution Assistant - All Shifts
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 58-hour shifts
Pay: $23-$31/hour depending on shift and experience
We are seeking Distribution Assistants to support warehouse, material handling, shipping, receiving, storage, and documentation activities in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Shifts & Pay
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM $23-$27/hour
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM-11:30 PM $25-$30/hour
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM-7:30 AM $26-$31/hour
Responsibilities
- Assist with receipt, handling, storage, and documentation of raw materials, components, supplies, and finished products.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Follow SOPs, cGMP, HAZMAT, safety, and training requirements.
- Perform shipping and receiving activities and maintain accurate documentation.
- Complete warehouse and loading dock cleaning duties and required cleaning logs.
- Follow all safety and PPE requirements.
- Work with Material Specialists and other team members to support daily operations.
- Work overtime as required.
Requirements
- GMP experience required.
- Shipping and receiving experience required.
- Forklift certification or experience preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Pharmaceutical, biologics, or cGMP manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
- Ability to work assigned shifts and overtime.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment
This position may require working around moving equipment, chemicals, fumes, and extreme cold, including a -25°ree;C freezer. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions and following all required safety procedures.
Additional Requirements
- Contractors must follow required PPE guidelines. Makeup, jewelry, nail polish/fake nails, and eyelash extensions are not permitted.
- Minimum 20/40 vision, with standard depth and color perception.
- Prescription glasses may be worn during the vision examination.
$23.00 - $31.00 / hr
