YOUR ROLE AS OUR PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL:

When we're awarded tasks and bring new jobs to the company, you'll serve as the primary point-of-contact for the contracting officer's representative (COR), communicating with them throughout the job to ensure we appropriately meet scheduling, budget, and deliverable quality requirements. You'll develop effective strategies for completing the project and resolving any problems, operational delays, or performance risks that come up. Responsibilities include (but aren't limited to):

• Developing a project management plan and leading a regional kickoff meeting within 30 days of task award
• Strategically coordinating staffing matrixes, labor requirements, site visit schedules, and quality control plans for projects
• Submitting monthly status reports and accurate engineer invoices
• Hosting bi-weekly teleconferences with the COR and installation teams and overseeing installation-level kickoffs
• Monitoring production against the installation schedule and redirecting resources/labor appropriately to meet timelines and quality expectations
• Maintaining accurate records and tracking government funded information (GFI), data requirements, and analyst training access

To do this, you'll need the following:

• US citizenship
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field such as business, finance, or real estate
• 3+ years of program or project management experience, including federal contract delivery
• Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal) with experience presenting to government stakeholders
• Ability to complete quarterly in-person check-ins at Joint Base Andrews, MD (local day trips from Landover HQ) and occasionally travel to regional kickoff meetings as needed

While not required, our ideal Project Management Professional has earned a PMP or DoD Financial Management certification (Level II or III), and is experienced with DoD, federal real property/real estate, or financial management programs. Proficiency in NexGen IT (or similar DoD real property system) is preferred. Work experience as a COR-facing program or project manager on a GSA MAS or similar federal task order would also be beneficial.
