Inventory Associate (Cycle Counting & Stand-Up Forklift)
Openwork is currently engaged in a search for an Inventory Associate for a well-established company located in Georgetown, Texas. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts, performing cycle counts, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has previous cycle counting experience, strong attention to detail, and experience operating a stand-up forklift.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
As an Inventory Associate, you’ll be responsible for:
- Performing daily cycle counts and physical inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Researching and resolving inventory discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and updating inventory systems
- Receiving, organizing, and stocking incoming materials and products
- Pulling, staging, and preparing inventory for orders and shipments
- Operating a stand-up forklift to safely move, transport, and organize materials throughout the warehouse
- Assisting with inventory adjustments and warehouse organization
- Ensuring products are properly labeled, stored, and accounted for
- Working closely with warehouse and inventory teams to support daily operations
- Following all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Supporting additional warehouse duties as needed
What You'll Need:
- Previous cycle counting experience required
- Previous inventory or warehouse experience required
- Stand-up forklift experience required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Basic computer skills and experience entering inventory data
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials as required
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
Perks:
- Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Location: Georgetown, TX
