Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to support students for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative school environment.
Job Details:
- Start Date: August 2026 (or ASAP)
- End Date: June 2027
- Schedule: Full-time or part-time options available
- Caseload: Preschool but K-12 options also available
- Setting: Onsite (potential hybrid flexibility depending on district)
- Pay Rate: $55+ per hour (based on experience)
- Weekly Pay: Direct deposit
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
- Interpret cognitive, academic, and behavioral data
- Develop and present IEPs and evaluation reports
- Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families
- Deliver short-term counseling and behavioral support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active California School Psychologist credential/license
- Previous school-based experience preferred (not required)
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and assessment tools
