Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP)/ Self-Directed Assistant (SDA) advocate on behalf of individuals receiving services in the Home-based program; fulfill QIDP/SDA responsibilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities at work and home served in Blue Cap’s Home-based Department. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Minimum Requirements
• BA/BS in social services or related field, plus one-year experience working with people with intellectual disabilities
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Proficiency in the use of computers and software applications
• Valid drivers license and good driving record
• Ability to maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
• Ability to complete Department of Human Services QIDP training and background check requirements
