Cutback Saw Operator – 2nd Shift
Pries is looking for a Cutback Saw Operator to join our growing team! No previous experience is requiredwe provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals who are ready to learn and grow in manufacturing.
Shift:
- Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Occasional Saturday work based on production needs
Starting Pay:
- Up to $22.00 per hour

Requirements:
- Steel-toe footwear required
- PPE reimbursement available
Responsibilities:
- Verify material lengths, die profiles, and work orders using Epicor.
- Confirm cut tolerances and ensure specifications are met.
- Inspect material for defects and burrs after cutting; identify and remove defective material.
- Set and adjust guides according to cutting specifications.
- Monitor saw stops, blades, lubrication systems, chip collectors, and chip barrels.
- Work with and provide direction to 1–2 team members to maintain production and quality standards.
- Ensure stacking equipment aligns material properly according to balance and safety standards.
- Create rack setups that protect material and prevent damage during handling and storage.
- Assist in coordinating proper packing and stacking procedures.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Maintain consistent attendance and reliability.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready.
