Job Summary We are seeking an part time
Echocardiac Ultrasound Technologist to join our team! As an Echocardiac Technologist, you will be responsible for greeting new patients, explaining the procedure, and answering any questions they may have as to what they can expect. You will perform only Echocardiogram exams, we do not perform stress tests. You will must have the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities- Answer patient questions, obtain relevant medical history, and explain the upcoming procedure
- Perform the cardiac echocardiogram ultrasound, recording accurate measurements and images, and all relevant data
- Accurate record of all findings
- Record all documents in EMR and upload data and measurements in Pacs system
- Notify Cardiologist of any immediate findings
Qualifications- Required registry is needed
- Previous experience is required of 1 year minimum
- Strong communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Understanding of confidentiality and HIPPA requirements
