Inside Sales Representative

LightMart is looking for anInside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team.

Sales experience is helpful, but industry experience is not required. We're willing to train and develop someone who is motivated, dependable, coachable, and ready to learn.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll build customer relationships, develop new sales opportunities, follow up on quotes and leads, and help grow existing accounts.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building relationships with new and existing customers

• Following up on customer inquiries, leads, and sales opportunities

• Proactively reaching out to potential customers by phone and email

• Preparing and following up on customer quotes

• Developing new business opportunities

• Growing existing customer accounts and repeat business

• Reconnecting with previous and inactive customers

• Maintaining an active sales pipeline

• Keeping customer and sales activity information updated in company systems

• Working closely with Customer Service, Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Operations

• Providing responsive, professional customer service

You don't need lighting industry experience to be successful here. We're looking for someone who is:

• Confident and comfortable communicating with customers

• Organized and consistent with follow-up

• Positive and professional

• Coachable and willing to learn

• Comfortable making outbound calls

• Able to manage multiple priorities

• A self-starter who takes ownership of their work

• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Experience insales, customer service, account management, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, construction, distribution, or another customer-facing position is a plus.

Experience with CRM or ERP systems is also helpful but not required.
