Brunch Brunch Baby, a popular food truck located right by Lady Bird Lake, is looking for a Full-Time Line Cook to help us serve up some of the best brunch in town. We’re seeking a skilled and motivated team member who takes pride in their work and is passionate about delivering great food quality while maintaining smooth service. Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Prep and cook eggs, bacon, potatoes, and gravy with speed and attention to detail.
- Menu Items: Prepare and build breakfast items, including sandwiches and burritos.
- Customer Service: Engage with customers, take orders, and expedite service.
- Workstation Maintenance: Set up and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Food Safety: Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards.
- Team Communication: Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and front-of-house to ensure smooth service.
- High-Volume Efficiency: Stay calm and efficient during high-volume shifts while working collaboratively with the team.
Requirements
- Availability to work mornings and weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer relation skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knife skills and knowledge of cooking methods and equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow directions.
- Time management and multitasking skills.
- Punctuality and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and food quality.
Schedule
Morning shifts only. Work is done by 3 PM (No night shifts ever).
