Job Summary We are seeking an Apprentice Carpenter/ Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will learn the craft of being a residential remodeling carpenter. Must be a positive minded self-motivated person that wants to have a great paying and rewarding career. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
Responsibilities- Maintain a clean work environment by picking up debris, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous products when necessary
- Provide assistance to fellow onsite employees such as tile setters, painters, and carpenters.
- Operate power tools and work safely.
- Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures such as scaffolding, ladders, ect.
- Other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor
- Report any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair
Qualifications- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Must be on time and ready to work at the start of your day.
- Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience is preferred but not necessary
