School Speech Language Pathologist - Porter, Texas

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Multiple positions are available for SLP professionals eager to make a difference at school sites in the Porter, TX area, with specific locations and caseloads to be determined based on best fit. This is a 37-hour per week commitment, allowing you to build relationships with students and collaborate closely with educational teams.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Prior experience working within a school setting is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans for students with diverse speech and language needs
• Flexibility and adaptability in managing varied caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics in accordance with school guidelines
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
• Work with teachers, staff, and families to create integrated support for each student
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by the district
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for communication strategies
• Offer direct and consultative therapy services, both one-on-one and in small groups
