Key Responsibilities:Operate Table and Beam Saws: Set up and operate table and beam saws to cut materials according to specifications.Nest Cuts and Optimize Material Usage: Calculate and plan cuts to maximize material usage and minimize waste.Read Mechanical Drawings: Interpret mechanical drawings and written instructions to ensure accurate cutting and fabrication.Inspect and Measure Parts: Use tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools to inspect and verify the accuracy of cut parts.Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on saw machines to ensure optimal performance.Quality Control: Ensure all cuts meet quality standards and specifications.Experience: Minimum of 5 years operating table or beam saws in a manufacturing environment.Proficient in setting up and operating table and beam saws.Ability to nest cuts and calculate maximum material usage with minimal loss.Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and written instructions.Skilled in using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools for inspection.Attention to Detail: High level of precision and accuracy in all tasks.Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with saw machinery.
