This role will liaise with the payroll team, the AR and AP team, the transactional finance team, the treasury team, the tax team and the bakery finance team. The successful candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge and a commitment to accuracy and completeness of financial data. This role will be assisting the year-end financial audit. This role will also be involved in various special projects along with other duties that may be required for the Company to meet its objectives.Responsibilities:Assist in completing the month-end closing process and ensure that deadlines are metPrepare various month-end balance sheet account reconciliationsPrepare and upload weekly and monthly journal entries for, and not limited to, Concur, Payroll, and TreasuryAssist in the year-end external financial auditEnsure a strong internal control environment and ensure the Company’s controls and procedures are enforced/established related to centralized general accountingSupport and participate in special projects as assignedAssist with activities related to system implementations and automation projects related to general accountingAny other duties required to successfully execute this roleQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field1-2 years of relevant accounting experience with knowledge of U.S. GAAPIntermediate-Expert in Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookups, macros)Strong system and analysis skills; SAP experience is preferableAbility and willingness to adapt to changes in processes, as neededProficient computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, etc.)Able to prioritize financial and operational activitiesStrong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlinesSalary Range: $68,600 - $71,800Aspire Bakeries LLC values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization.
