We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with early childhood education (ECE) units and experience to join our team. This role is part of our Lunch and After School Team, a vital part of our school community, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the campus. The position involves supervising Preschool through 8th gradestudents during indoor and outdoor lunch, play, and arts and crafts. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment for our energetic and motivated students.What We OfferPay range: $18.00-$22.00Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 11:00 AM - 6:00 PMLocation: Mission Viejo, CAOpportunity for career advancementResponsibilitiesPlan and organize after-school arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activitiesSupervision and assistance during lunch breakAssist students with homeworkCollaborate with faculty and staff to ensure smooth program operationsProvide safe supervision and care for students, including PreschoolersLight duties such as sweeping, wiping down tables, and trash removalQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredRequired completion of early childhood education units(12 semester or 18 quarter)Experience working with young children, especially in Preschool settingsPrior experience working with children preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and ability to connect with colleagues and students
