Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Nurse Intern provides professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit, clinic or region with direct supervision of a licensed nurse. The Nurse Intern performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments with supervision.The Student Nurse Extern (SNE) assesses patient health problems and needs and develops and implements nursing care plans under the supervision of a licensed nurse. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.
