Responsible for quality assurance of all treatment and planning devices in the department.Takes radiation measurements on the accelerators and analyzes the data.Verfies dosimetry calculations done by dosimitrists and technologists.Performs radiation therapy treatment planning.Performs QA procedures on all medical radiation devices and radiation safety surveys, which satisfy ACR certification requirements.Responsible for maintaining, scheduling, creating meeting minutes and oversight for the Radiation Safety Committee

The Home Care Physical Therapist evaluates and develops treatment plans for patients of all ages, modifying the plan of care as appropriate. Serves as a role model in the delivery of professional services and as a clinical resource for staff and students. Hours may vary depending upon census and program need.Documents through comprehensive detail about patient visit, information is sufficient that following staff can determine exactly what and how care was rendered with a clear plan for the next contact.Educates and documents discharge planning prior to discharge, including communication with physician, insurance source, outpatient visits and community resources are planned and arranged if applicable. Verifies patient information and prepares the treatment room and equipment.Monitors patient's condition while undergoing treatment, recognizing signs of treatment complications and alerting the physician or nurse if needed.Explain procedure to patient, means of communication during treatment, and procedure to follow if emergency arises during treatment.
