Software Tester

We are looking for an experienced Software User-Interface Tester with 8 -10+ years of experience in full-spectrum testing, including automated testing, to join our team and provide full-spectrum test support (i.e., system, integration, unit, end-to-end, contract, security and performance). Experience with all types of test is not required.
Responsibilities:
Work at a Government site 3-5 days per weekWrite automated test scripts to assess functionality within the system User Interface (UI)Write and execute thorough test cases and proceduresContribute to work item development (especially testing criteria)Troubleshoot failed automated testsSupport feature and validation testing across multiple domainsLearn and utilize project technologies for in depth error root cause analysis
Requirements:
United States Citizenship is requiredSec+ certification or commitment to get Sec+ within six-months of hireExperience with automated UI test tools (TestCaf Studio, Selenium, Cucumber etc.)Proficiency with Kubernetes (pod creation and management) and ArgoExperience with infrastructure testing and troubleshooting system issuesSignificant experience with application performance monitoring toolsAbility to understand JavaScriptExperience with Jira or similar work management and software development tools (e.g, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Confluence).
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in writing JavaScriptExperience with Logstash and ElasticsearchKnowledge of C#, Ruby, SQL
Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is preferred, but not required.
Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Travel: Very limited. Potential regional travel every quarter for 2-3 days.

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $120,000-$150,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
