Sign Shop Support is responsible for assisting in the production, assembly, and installation of traffic signs. This includes operating machinery, maintaining inventory, preparing work orders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The position involves collaborating with team members, maintaining a clean work environment, and supporting the sign shop's operations to ensure timely project completion.
Gather, lift, and carry inventory items such as reflective sheeting, aluminum blanks, tools, and finished signs. Set up and utilize sign maker computer to produce cut letters of various sizes; mark, position, and apply letters to sign faces. Operate squeeze roll machine and count incoming aluminum blanks for storage. Measure and cut aluminum and composite sheets to required dimensions, trim edges of sheeted sign blanks. Fabricate aluminum and construction signs, including custom layouts for silk screen and printing processes. Read and understand sign order requirements from sales orders and verbal instructions. Clean signs after fabrication and maintain clean work areas. Follow all safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe work environment. Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures. Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Experience with neurologic patient populations is preferred (either pre-graduation or post professionally). New graduates are encouraged to apply. APTA membership is expected.This is a 14-month salaried position with full benefits that provides participants clinical and didactic education, as well as mentoring, in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting. Didactic education sources include the Neuroconsortium and Medbridge. Inter-professional opportunities within the hospital and across the continuum of care are to be provided. Goals of the ABPTRFE Credentialed Residency Program include:Develop high quality, evidence based physical therapy practice or consultation skills in services to the neurologic patient populationStrengthen education to patients and caregivers in the areas of wellness, prevention and health promotionDevelop clinical reasoning skills and critical inquiry to assess literature and provide education to Encompass Health staffStrengthen social responsibility and advocacy within the physical therapy profession Requirements:Candidates are required to submit a Residency and Fellowship Physical Therapy Centralized Application Service (RF-PTCAS).
