SUMMARY Residential Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the upkeep and repair of our properties. They must be able to work unsupervised while performing quality repairs to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. They must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot problems. Customer service is very important and must be displayed at all times. Documentation is done via smart devices such as provided smartphones and tablets. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent. HVAC Certification preferred but not required 2-5 years' experience in the maintenance field. Proficient at using a smartphone and computer. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must have own tools, we provide larger/specialized equipment. Valid Driver's License. Welcomes patient and assist with move-in process. Deliver Welcome Packet, answer questions, and begin C.A.R.E.S. process. Coordinate communication with the Family, Nursing Home Staff, Social Workers and team regarding the admission process. Complete initial plan of care in EMR. Complete head to toe assessment and ensure that all appropriate treatments and orders are in place. Add any wounds to weekly wound log. Initiate appropriate preventative measures (i.e., skin, fall risk, elopement, etc.). Initiate all appropriate admission paperwork including initial plan of care, med list, admit papers, Physician orders with appropriate dates and signatures, code status papers and other required documentation. Verify orders with physician. Obtain and enter into EMR patient's current immunization status. Offer / administer / document immunizations as appropriate. Demonstrate familiarity with policies of the agency and rules and regulatory requirements.
