Analyze equipment, circuitry, diagnose troubles, repair, adjust, modify, service all types of electronic devices and systems.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing / plant equipmentPerforms preventive maintenance and calibration activities for the plant equipmentKnowledge of computers, PLCs and other electronicsTroubleshooting electrical capability and the ability to maintain all plant equipmentAble to install, test, repair, and replace motors, drives, controls, starters, lights and powerMust be able to work independently and as a member of a teamInput data into Carrier’s TMS work order and asset management systemFollow industry best practice of safety procedures, including Arc Flash Protection,and Lock Out Tag OutDemonstrate the initiative to investigate and offer improvements to plant operationsCommunicate appropriately with all site management employeesService, clean, inspect and repair equipment periodically following established PMsSafely operate mobile equipment such as fork trucks, carts, lifts, boom lifts, etc.Create notifications and follow up on needed repairs and order required partsSafely use basic hand and power tools such as a drill press, power saw, grinder, etc.Have an understanding of belts, belt drives, chain drives, gear boxes and conveyorsRead and interpret engineering drawing relative to the job assignedSafely use machining equipment such a band saw, drill press, lathe, etc.Install electrical systems & equipment according to NEC provisions & best practicesWorks safely and follow all established plant safety policies and proceduresPerform miscellaneous duties as requiredPrepare and order parts and material needed for jobsMinimum Standards:High School Diploma - Technical school preferredBasic computer skillsCombination of 5 years of Electrical experience, College Degree, technical school or formal apprenticeship program.Journeyman`s card3 to 5 years work experience in the Electrical trade in the previous 5 yearsExperience with controlsKnowledge of industry best practice of safety procedures, including Arc Flash Protection,and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.Pass skilled trade’s management interviewPass prescribed electrical testAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketchesRead and interpret engineering drawing relative to the job assignedBe able to perform advanced math calculationsBasic computer skills#Ejobs
