Our client, a leading Diagnostics Manufacturing company, is seeking an Advanced Production Planner & Schedulerto join their team. As a Advanced Production Planner and Scheduler,you will be part of the Production team supporting key operational objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in production planning and scheduling.
Job Title: Advanced Production Planner & Scheduler
Location: Grand Island, NYShift: Monday-Friday;8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Range: $25-30/hour
What’s the Job
Plan and schedule all aspects of production, ensuring cost-effective and optimal production schedules.
Lead planning assignments, analyze data, and drive continuous process improvements to enhance key metrics such as OTIF, Backorder, Schedule Attainment, and Utilization.
Monitor movement of materials through the production cycle for timely delivery and manage material requirements to support the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Provide input on rescheduling due to design changes, labor/material shortages, and other potential disruptions.
Collaborate with external departments, resolve inventory stock level risks, and analyze root causes of stock outs to implement corrective measures.
What’s Needed
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Science, or equivalent relevant experience.
At least 2 years of experience in planning and scheduling or related roles.
Proficiency in ERP Systems (SAP) and strong knowledge of production planning.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Knowledge of ISO/FDA, GMP regulations, and OSHA safety compliance.
