Additional Job Functions: Block/direct traffic for special events Safely operate forklift and other equipment including but not limited to tractors and lifts Pick up trash on campus when encountered during the course of daily duties; this include fallen or broken branches Communication via phone calls in a timely manner Make minor Asphalt repairs Perform maintenance by cleaning out roof drains / gutters as needed Relocate, dispose and replace car stops when requested Remove/Install exterior signage Ability to work at assigned college location completing work orders as scheduled. Job Duties: Provide transportation services for people with disabilities who are unable to use regular public transit. Operating specialized vehicles, such as buses or vans, that are often equipped with ramps. Ensure the safe operation of the vehicle and the safety and comfort of passengers. Picking up and dropping off passengers, and accommodating passengers with mobility devices, medical equipment, and a variety of disabilities. Safely load and unload each passenger. Securing mobility equipment inside the vehicle.
