Drivers are responsible for safely driving a ready mix truck in and around the city, job sites and Company property; and for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of concrete.
Duties and Responsibilities: Safely drive truck to and from destination applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations and area roads Check loads to ensure product is being hauled in an appropriate and safe manner to adjust to desired level Estimate slump of concrete Distinguish between a proper mix and one that is too rocky or too sandy Distinguish the color difference between mixes Verify directions with plant personnel before leaving the plant to ensure delivery to the correct customer and job site Strive to meet customer expectations without exception and achieve highly positive customer satisfaction survey results consistent with strategic objectives Develop extensive working relationships with customers, both external and internal, in order to maximize opportunities for CEMEX and to ensure customer needs are addressed Keep equipment in acceptable condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials and supplies Maintain personal appearance in neat and clean manner, including shirts tucked in at all times Maintain radio contact with supervisor/dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions Assist other company employees as needed Complete pre- and post-trip inspections on truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights brakes, gas, oil and water 15 minute Start-Up, 25 minutes Shut-Down May perform roadside repairs, such as installing light bulbs, spark plugs, etc. Maintain good working knowledge of the traffic routes of the city Must be able to take orders, instructions, and guidance from supervisors and management Cooperate and promote a team concept between himself and all other company employees, as well as all CEMEX’s customers Adhere to all CEMEX, D.O.T., and O.S.H.A. rules and regulations at all times Meet or exceed company safety standards Perform other job responsibilities as assigned

Primary job function is working on various types of railcars, barges and above ground storage tanks. Tasks include cleaning and washing railcars using high pressure equipment, product removal, performing minor maintenance repairs and/or parts replacement. Must be willing to follow customer, company, FRA, and AAR guidelines. We are a national mobile service company. Traveling locally and nationally will be required at times, and may spend nights in a hotel.
Experience not required; However, the ideal candidate will have experience in the industrial cleaning industry or experience in the Rail/ Barge and above ground storage tanks. Minimum 5-day work week subject to required overtime, on-call, and alternate shifts that may include weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

Pol-Tex International is currently seeking a Non-CDL Yard Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Our fleet, facility, and equipment combined with our experienced and dedicated professional staff make Pol-Tex International the premier gathering and recycling center for the Gulf Coast Region.
Yard Drivers at Pol-Tex are responsible for relocating, docking, and transporting 48’ and 53’ trailers within our manufacturing facility. They must be able to keep up with a fast paced production environment while accurately recording information to ensure on-time shipment of goods. This position also uses propane, sit-down forklifts to help load and unload trailers. The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.

At times they will complete the mechanical testing of electro-mechanical equipment. Tasks include replacing, inspecting and dismantling defective parts, and implementing upgrades and part changeovers. Asphalt laborers assist in the pouring, smoothing and setting of asphalt on roads, pathways, and parking lots. This includes raking, sweeping, and lining out the road, as well as working alongside the mill, paver, and the screed. General Laborers will work with dirt crew handling various jobs.
