The successful candidate will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA.If this sounds like the kind of environment where you can thrive, keep reading!THE MISSION The Digital Modernization Sector brings together our digital transformation and IT programs, allowing us to better serve our customers through scale and repeatability.Are you ready to make an impact Begin your journey of a flourishing and meaningful career, share your resume with us today!What You'll Be Doing:Help the planning and design of cable infrastructure systems that support the customer’s strategic and operationalConduct comprehensive site visits for data collection and evaluation of telecommunications and building technologies systems, ensuring project scopes are well-defined and met.Maintain and manage inside plant cable infrastructure, including conduit, cable trays, copper, coax, fiber optics, and all associated elements.Help the implementation of EIPs for the installation of cable racks, wiring, and the necessary testing during installation.partner with project teams to ensure that cable infrastructure designs meet all technical and regulatory measures.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experienceExperience in planning, and designing cable infrastructure that supports the DoD environmentRegistered Communications Distribution Designer certificationTS/SCI clearanceExperience conducting site visits to evaluate telecommunications and technology systems, equipment, componentsStrong teamworkskills that enable good working relationships with co-workers and customersExperience managing the development of multiple technical projectsExperience maintaining Inside Plant cable infrastructure to include conduit, cable trays, copper, coax, fiber, and all associated elements.Experience developing EIPs required for installation of cable racks, wiring of the racks and testing required during installation.Current on codes and technologies appropriate to the telecommunications and building technologies design/construction industryOutstanding brownfield infrastructure design skills, with a strong analytical approach to problem-solvingOriginal Posting Date:2024-07-01While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
