This role is instrumental in nurturing students’ appreciation for music and fostering their individual talents through engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction. As a Music Teacher, you will deliver high-quality music education tailored to a variety of age levels, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and confidence in a supportive classroom environment.Responsibilities:Develop and deliver engaging music lessons aligned with school standards and curriculum objectives.Foster a love for music by introducing students to a variety of musical genres, instruments, and performance techniques.Plan and lead school performances, concerts, and other musical events.Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into music instruction to enhance learning.Collaborate with colleagues to ensure interdisciplinary connections and support school-wide events.Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.Supervise and ensure the safety of students during classroom and performance activities.Cultivate a classroom environment that encourages respect, creativity, and a passion for the arts.What We Are Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field.Teaching certification preferred.Experience working with preschool through 8th-grade students in a classroom or similar setting.Proficiency in a variety of instruments and an understanding of music theory.Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of diverse learning styles.Enthusiasm for collaborative teaching and curriculum development.Positive attitude, adaptability, and commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
