We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedAccounts Payable Clerk to manage daily AP activities and support the Finance Team. This position is responsible for invoice processing, vendor management, account reconciliations, payment processing, and maintaining accurate financial records. Located in Oxnard, CA Temp to hire Offering $20-25/hr.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and review invoices, employee expenses, and payments for accuracy and timely processing.
- Maintain vendor accounts and ensure transactions are properly coded and recorded.
- Reconcile AP accounts, general ledger accounts, and bank activity.
- Research and resolve invoice, payment, and vendor discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate accounting documentation.
- Support purchasing, inventory tracking, and periodic inventory counts as needed.
- Respond professionally to vendor and employee inquiries.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
- Perform other accounting duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with SAP or other accounting systems preferred.
- Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others.
- Strong English and Vietnamese communication skills required.
