Insurance Agency Sales Manager

The Michael Whalen Farmers Insurance Agency is a fast-growing agency seeking an experienced Insurance Sales Manager to help lead our team and drive the agency’s continued growth.

We’re looking for a proveninsurance professional and sales leader who understands how to build strong customer relationships, develop high-performing salespeople, and consistently deliver results. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who is ready to lead by example, coach and develop a team, and play a key role in expanding the agency.

The ideal candidate is confident, motivated, and results-driven, with the ability to balance day-to-day sales leadership with long-term team development. You’ll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact while helping shape the culture, performance, and future growth of the agency.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and motivate the agency’s sales team
• Set and drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
• Monitor sales activity, pipelines, quotes, and overall production
• Coach team members on prospecting, quoting, follow-up, and closing
• Help develop and implement strategies to increase new business and retention
• Hold team members accountable to performance expectations
• Work directly with customers and prospects when needed
• Identify opportunities to improve agency processes and sales performance
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and developing new team members
• Track key performance metrics and communicate results to agency leadership
• Help create a high-performance, growth-oriented agency culture

What We’re Looking For

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
• Previous insurance sales experience required
• Previous sales leadership or management experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of personal lines insurance
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Strong coaching, communication, and leadership skills
• Highly organized with strong follow-through
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Self-motivated and capable of taking ownership without constant direction
