Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a growing organization in Liberty, Texas. This contract position with permanent potential is ideal for someone who can manage core accounting activities with accuracy, maintain organized financial records, and help keep reporting and transactions on track. The role offers an opportunity to contribute across payables, receivables, reconciliations, and accounting system activity while working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
• Record financial transactions accurately and maintain up-to-date bookkeeping records within QuickBooks.
• Process vendor invoices, schedule payments, and monitor accounts payable activity to ensure timely disbursements.
• Prepare customer billing, apply incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances to support accounts receivable operations.
• Reconcile bank statements and internal financial records on a regular basis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Review accounting entries for completeness and accuracy, making corrections as needed to support reliable reporting.
• Organize financial documentation and maintain clear records for audits, reporting needs, and internal reference.
• Assist with month-end accounting tasks by compiling data, verifying balances, and supporting account review processes.• Experience performing full-cycle bookkeeping responsibilities in a business environment.
• Proficiency using QuickBooks for transaction entry, account tracking, and financial record maintenance.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice handling and payment coordination.
• Familiarity with accounts receivable functions such as billing, cash application, and collections follow-up.
• Ability to complete bank reconciliations accurately and investigate variances efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple financial tasks while meeting deadlines.
