What You’ll Do
As a Field Service Technician, you will drive to commercial kitchens, restaurants, and institutional facilities across the region to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial food service equipment.
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical and plumbing issues on commercial cooking, warewashing, and food preparation equipment.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance calls to keep our clients' operations running without downtime.
- Digital Work Orders: Log service reports, parts used, and job notes efficiently using mobile software.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate cleanly and professionally with kitchen managers and chefs, explaining repairs with integrity.
- Fleet Care: Keep your assigned company service vehicle clean, stocked, and ready for work.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Field Service Technician experience working on commercial, industrial, or complex mechanical systems.
- Core Technical Skills: Proven hands-on proficiency in Electrical troubleshooting (required).
- Plumbing Knowledge: 1+ years of commercial plumbing experience (preferred).
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (Required).
- Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, independent work ethic, and pride in doing the job right the first time.
Work Schedule & Travel Requirements
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday.
- On-Call: 1x per month rotation (calls after 4:00 PM and weekend urgent requests).
- Travel: Regional travel throughout Fairfield County and surrounding Connecticut areas.
